About this event
Your help is needed to plant pollinator habitat at Salem's largest park! Join Friends of Trees and the City of Salem at Minto-Brown Island Park to plant hundreds of native plants that will provide shade and add beauty to the well-loved trail system as well as create habitat for native pollinators.
Please arrive by 8:45am to sign-in and be assigned a planting crew. The planting starts at 9:00am. We provide gloves, tools, and planting guidance, as well as breakfast snacks and coffee/tea/hot chocolate -- all you need to do is show up dressed for the weather wearing sturdy shoes or boots, and be ready to have fun!
