- ➤ Kelly Bird, Linfield University’s athletics marketing and events coordinator, will be inducted into the College Sports Communicators Hall of Fame on Monday, June 8 at Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas — adding a national honor to his 36-year career in sports communications. News-Register
