- ➤ The McMinnville Area Chamber of Commerce will move into its new building at 1215 N.E. Baker St this spring to double its space with a visitors’ center and more offices. Ticor Title, currently in the building, will relocate to West Second Street to make way for the Chamber. News-Register
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Registration is open for artists to join the Amity Art Collective Tour from May 15-17—featuring open studios and a juried high school art show. Submit registration by March 15 online or by email and enjoy a free self-guided tour from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. News-Register

- ➤ Tickets remain available for the third-annual 'A Work of Heart' wine pairing dinner & auction to benefit McMinnville school programs. The nonprofit is hosting the event from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7 at the Evergreen reception hall near the aviation museum, with tickets priced at $150. News-Register
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Yamhill County Health and Human Services has partnered with CHESS Health to offer a free digital screening tool (available online and as a walk-in option) that helps residents assess substance use risks and learn about local treatment options. The new service aims to reduce stigma and improve access to care. News-Register

- ➤ Amity earned a commanding win over Taft on Jan. 19 as four players scored double digits — YC and other teams improved in recent conference play through Jan. 21. The season continues with upcoming matchups on Jan. 29 and beyond. News-Register
- ➤ On Tuesday night at McMinnville High School, the Grizzlies beat Newberg with Summers recording a double-double. Head Coach Sean Coste praised the team's balanced play and noted strong energy on the court. News-Register
- ➤ Linfield women’s basketball ended a 9-game losing streak with a 65-56 win over Puget Sound in Tacoma on Friday. The Wildcats also beat PLU (Pacific Lutheran University) 59-37 on Saturday, keeping their conference record strong as they prepare for upcoming games. News-Register
