- ➤ Willamette Valley Medical Center’s wound center — now with hyperbaric chambers — offers a new treatment option for patients with radiation burns, diabetic ulcers and other hard-to-heal wounds. News-Register
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ The Yamhill Carlton girls basketball team made the state playoffs after beating the Neah-Kah-Nie Pirates 32+27 on Saturday, Feb. 21. It is their second consecutive playoff appearance. News-Register
- ➤ On Friday, Mac Boys Basketball won 61-59 in overtime against No. 47 Glencoe — senior guard Dylan Ferrua and sophomore forward Xander Gurash each scored 18 points. They had a home game Tuesday and will finish with a tip off against No. 44 Liberty on Thursday. News-Register
