- ➤ A track clinic and mock meet to raise awareness for Type 1 Diabetes is set for Saturday, March 29 at Amity High School's track. Senior Jaxson Howard (with help from collegiate mentors) will guide athletes through stations from 1 to 4:30 p.m. with a $17 entry fee supporting Breakthrough T1D. News-Register

- ➤ Valley United has started spring basketball camps for grades 2-12 on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1255 N.E. Alpine Ave in McMinnville. The camps offer skill training, strength and mobility sessions, and weekend gameplay + local coaches lead all activities. News-Register
