- ➤ The No Kings rally will take place in McMinnville on Saturday, March 28 from 1 to 3 p.m. along Baker and Adams streets, with themed blocks featuring frog costumes and patriotic displays — another rally is scheduled in Newberg from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. News-Register

- ➤ Linfield president Mark Blegen hosted a Pizza with the Presidents town hall on March 17 where questions focused on his Balanced Budget Initiative and concerns over course availability emerged among students. - ➤ Chronobreak (the McMinnville High robotics team) is raising $16,500 to cover travel and lodging for the Western Edge Regional Championship in Long Beach in May; the team, which won the Sustain Award at the Oregon First Tech Challenge Robotics State Championship, asks for community donations via GoFundMe or mailed contributions. - ➤ Mac’s varsity softball beat Roseburg Indians 4-0 at Roseburg on Saturday (Mar. 21). Junior pitcher Ariel Glynn threw a complete game shutout while Rylan Carton homered to lift the team to No. 5, and they will face North Medford and West Salem on Tuesday. News-Register
- ➤ Amity’s Warriors beat the Bulldogs 12 to 2 on Thursday as hitters drove the win, while the Pirates stayed undefeated with three wins including a game of 12 hits over Vernonia on March 17 at Dayton — they will pitch next in the Basin Baseball Bash in Stanfield this week. News-Register
- ➤ Hundreds of track and field athletes from Amity, Delphian, McMinnville, Willamina, and Yamhill Carlton will compete tomorrow at Wortman Stadium during the annual Jim Barks Grizzly Bear Open. News-Register
- ➤ The Grizzlies played in Arizona as part of the Coach Bob National Invitational, winning 9-7 over West Point on March 20 and losing 5-4 to the Highland Hawks on March 21. The team will face Colorado schools before hosting Lakeridge on Tuesday, March 31, at 4:30 p.m. News-Register
