  • Alec Kowalewski from OSU Extension explained that the best grass mix depends on the site and that homeowners should choose blends based on sun exposure—for sunny areas, a mix of perennial ryegrass and fine fescue works best, while shady lawns do better with more fine fescue, and central and eastern lawns perform well with Kentucky bluegrass and perennial ryegrass.  The Oregonian

  • Yesterday, Oregon’s Ducks sophomore Kiara Romero tied for seventh at Augusta National Golf Club in the Augusta National women’s amateur after shooting a 2-over 74 in the final round—she became only the second Oregon golfer to finish in the top 10 following Hsin-Yu Lu's finish in 2023.  The Oregonian
  • Jacob Walsh hit a two-run home run and a two-run single and broke Oregon’s career RBI record as the Ducks clinched a series with a 13-3 win over Michigan in eight innings Saturday at PK Park (attendance was 4,130).  The Oregonian
