McMinnville Lions will hold their second A Roaring Night of Giving event Saturday, May 10 at the McMinnville Community Center to benefit the McMinnville High School Resource Room and Lions charities.

The event runs from 5 to 9 p.m. and features dinner by Harvest Fresh, wines by JL Kiff Vineyards, beer by Bierly Brewery, music by Ad Lib, and an auction of vintage items, experiences, art and prizes — tickets cost $75 each or $500 for a table of eight.

Oregon State University professor Erica Fleishman will discuss the status and impact of climate change at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 3 at McMinnville Presbyterian Church at 390 N.E.

Second St in a free program focused on the economy, public health and natural environments + she will also explain strategies for community adaptation.
