Former McMinnville PD Sgt. Terry (TJ) Ward died of cancer on April 18 at age 77.
A celebration of his life will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 17 at the Leslie Lewis Pavillion on the Yamhill County Fairgrounds.

Federal labor officials recovered $200,137 in back wages from Taste of India I on Third Street after the restaurant violated wage law by not paying overtime and using tips as base wages.
Officials also imposed $15,256 in penalties for failing to pay 19 nonexempt workers the required overtime rate.
