- ➤ McMinnville School Superintendent Kourtney Ferrua will speak today at 7:30 p.m. at the district office (800 N.E. Lafayette Ave) during the first budget committee meeting where principals and finance director Jason Hall will share funding details; a follow-up meeting is planned for May 20 if needed. - ➤ Rural Yamhill and Polk County school districts announced vocational courses will be offered in the Barbara Roberts center in Sheridan before construction begins. The program will bring career technical education to students sooner than expected. News-Register
