  • On April 12th, Pike members of Linfield’s Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity held their tenth annual Walk-a-Mile in Her Shoes to support Henderson House—a local group that helps survivors of domestic and sexual violence in Yamhill County. The event raised $3,000 through donations for extra laps and continues a tradition that has raised over $60,000 in total to fund support services.  The Linfield Review

SPORTS NEWS

  • The OSAA approved a new classification and district committee on Monday — the group will meet from August to December to study switching from six to five classifications to lower travel costs for nearly 300 schools. Executive Director Peter Weber said the committee will send its recommendations to the board and delegate assembly after completing its meetings.  The Oregonian
