ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Firefighters from Yamhill County fought a blaze that burned fields and structures on Old McMinnville Highway southwest of Carlton after a call came in at 7:30 p.m. Friday—multiple departments from Carlton, Yamhill, McMinnville, Lafayette and surrounding areas aided the efforts as water trucks refilled in Carlton. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Lawmakers passed HB 3054 that limits yearly rent increases to 6% in manufactured home parks and marinas with more than 30 spaces and allows a one-time 12% hike every five years if most residents agree. The bill now moves to Gov. Tina Kotek for review and is meant to help tenants plan for rising land costs. The Oregonian
