Good morning, McMinnville.

This morning, Unidos Bridging Community reported that ICE officers detained an individual in McMinnville near the former Sears Hometown Store, now being developed into El Torito Market — the targeted detention stresses the need for an immigration attorney within the first hour and advises locals not to spread unchecked social media rumors.

The McMinnville summer league varsity baseball team, sponsored by Willamette Valley Orthopedics and Sports Medicine—won a 3-0 game on the road when Brumit threw a no-hitter.

Longtime Linfield baseball assistant Jordan Harlow will be the new head coach beginning July 1 — replacing Dan Spencer, as announced by athletic director Scott Brosious.

The change is planned to ensure a smooth leadership transition for the team.
