Good morning, McMinnville.
U.S. District Judge Adrienne Nelson released Adam Lansky from Yamhill County Jail to the Northwest Regional Re-Entry Center after he was charged with attempting to firebomb a Salem Tesla dealership by throwing Molotov cocktails and firing a rifle—no one was injured during the incident.
Five energy and conservation groups filed a lawsuit in the 9th Circuit against the BPA on July 10, arguing its decision to join the Southwest energy market—made in May—violates federal law and will raise electricity rates, lower grid reliability and harm fish and wildlife.
