Van Duzer Vineyards near Dallas is known for its cool climate pinot noir and for helping the Fender’s blue butterfly recover by planting Kincaid’s lupine in partnership with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
The winery will soon launch its first traditional method sparkling wine—adding a new choice for wine lovers.

The OSAA committee met on August 25 and reviewed two drafts that could change high school sports classifications—one plan would reduce the number to five.
They will present their recommendations on September 8, and changes will only affect non-football sports at first.
