  • Ballots for the Nov. 5 General Election in Yamhill County, including federal, state, and local races, will be mailed starting Oct. 16, with registration closing on Oct. 15.  News-Register

  • Nearly 10 million pounds of meat and poultry products have been recalled due to potential listeria contamination, affecting almost 200 stores in Oregon and Washington with no confirmed illnesses reported.  The Oregonian
