- ➤ The McMinnville Youth Collective will host its second annual Mend Fix Gathering on Sunday, November 2 at First Presbyterian Church — 390 N.E. Second St — from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Youth and experienced fixers will mend clothes, furniture, and watches and share dinner afterward. News-Register
- ➤ Provoking Hope will hold its annual Fill the Van drive on Nov. 5 to collect socks, hats, scarves, mittens, winter coats and hygiene items at Grocery Outlet—568 Highway 99W, McMinnville—from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Donated items will support those in need, and drop-off boxes are available at the program’s office and several local sites.
