  • The former 3rd St. Pizza and Moonlight Theater building (433 N.E. Third St.) was damaged by a fire in May 2023 and later renovated but remains empty. Owner Donna Wright is selling the renovated blank slate for $950,000 and broker Mike Morris said buyers may need extra funds (between 200000 and 300000 dollars) to meet code requirements and revive the downtown space.  News-Register

SPORTS NEWS

  • The McMinnville Grizzlies girls soccer team lost 4-1 to No. 9 Sheldon on Saturday after junior Tessa Ravia scored a free kick goal to tie the game. Delphian advanced to the second round with a 3-1 win over Brookings-Harbor and will face Oregon Episcopal today at 6 p.m.—the Amity girls played their playoff match on Tuesday while the Dayton boys will host theirs today.  News-Register
