  • A fire on Nov 9 at Valley’s Edge RV Park in Sheridan destroyed most possessions of a family of six with four young children; fire crews quickly controlled the blaze while two family members were checked as the family spent the night in their car — neighbors posted offers for needed items.  News-Register

  • Oh Whale—a documentary by Winslow Crane-Murdoch that tells the story of the 1970 exploding whale disaster and its viral legacy—will show at the Tomorrow Theater today at 7 p.m., with an earlier screening added and a sold-out Q&A with Paul Linnman due to high demand.  The Oregonian
